Facial Scrub Sugar Sweet

Handmade using fine brown sugar, fractionated coconut oil, vitamin E, vanilla with lavender and palmarosa pure essential oils.

This scrub will help to restore radiant skin, improving the texture and clarity for all skin types. It is a pretty perfect facial scrub.

Sugar exfoliates the skin but does not dry it like salt may. It contains glycolic acids which means it exfoliates on a chemical level as well as by abrasion. Coconut oil  is easily absorbed into the skin. It is full of antioxidants, vitamins E and K and minerals and it helps the skin to absorb more vitamins and nutrients.   Fractionated coconut oil is a fraction of the coconut oil from which all the long chain triglycerides are removed, leaving mainly the medium chain triglycerides making it an absolutely saturated oil. Vitamin E is an antioxidant which helps improve circulation to the skin. It protects skin cells and membranes from environmental damage caused by UV rays, pollutants, and aging. It also allows the skin to breathe and function naturally, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and the formation of scar tissue. Vanilla (Oleoresin) balances the mood and reduces stress. A calming aphrodisiac. Great for mature skin. Lavender essential oil is suitable for all skin types especially sensitive skin. It helps regenerate skin cells and so is great for mature skin, sun spots and scarring. Has a relaxing and calming effect on the nervous system. Palmarosa essential oil is a wonderful skin softener. 

To use, simply wash your face with warm water.  Massage a little of this scrub, avoiding the eye area, with gentle upward circular motions into your skin for a few minutes. Rinse with cool water, gently pat dry and follow with your toner, if needed. Use whenever you are time poor and you face needs a lift :)

Keep dry with the lid tightly closed and use within 12 months.
