Facial Oil – Silky Oil with Green Tea

Suitable for all skin types especially dry.

Handmade using organic green tea and chai infused rice bran oils and, calendula flowers infused in soybean oil, organic rose hip seed oil with frankincense and neroli pure essential oils.

A friend asked me to make her a facial oil to use at night. This is the resulting oil which she loves.  It is full of wonderful ingredients for rejuvenating and healing your skin. Green tea is a powerhouse of antioxidants that is fabulous for anti-aging, eliminating blemishes including acne. It is anti-cancer and fights sun damage with its rich content of powerful cancer fighting constituents (EGCG). You can reap its benefits by drinking it but it opens up a whole new world when used externally. It is a wonderful skin food. Chai Seeds are a superfood full of minerals and essential fatty acids, which moisturise and calm the skin. Calendula petals are known for their calming and anti-inflammation and skin healing properties. Slightly astringent and antiseptic. Rose hip seed oil is high in essential fatty acids so it is also ideal to help damaged skin. Rice bran and soybean oils are easily absorbed into your skin. Frankincense helps to rejuvenate tired sagging skin and accelerate the healing of small blemishes i.e. sunspots and age spots. It has the ability to tighten skin and improve skin tone and elasticity as someone ages. Suitable for acneic, environmentally damaged or mature skin. Has a sweet, heavy fragrance. Neroli promotes cell regeneration and improves skin elasticity. Helps to smooth fine lines, tone sagging skin and shrink the appearance of pores without drying skin. Gentle. Has a rich, erotic, delicate orange scent. Considered to be an aphrodisiac by some.

Shake well before applying a few drops to a cleansed and toned face. A little goes a long way.
