Facial Scrub – Pink Clay Mask and Cleanser

Handmade using natural organic pink Australian clay, fine brown organic sugar, organic milk powder, organic powdered beetroot, with organic rosehip oil, organic evening primrose oil and palmarosa, helichrysum and carrotseed pure essential oils.
Pink clay is ideal for sensitive skin and a wonderful skin firmer. It is rich in silica which may help to improve skin elasticity and cell renewal for supple, younger looking skin. Sugar exfoliates the skin but does not dry it out like salt may. It contains glycolic acids which means it exfoliates on a chemical level as well as by abrasion. Full cream cow's milk is high in skin softening fats and a great skin cleanser for normal, dry and sensitive skin. Contains proteins whey and casein, amino acids, lactic acid, and vitamins A, D and E. Beetroot has rich skin enhancing properties, helps remove dead skin cells, making your skin soft and supple. It can also help lighten skin, saying goodbye to blemishes, dark spots and dark circles, giving you soft and moisturised skin, delaying the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Rose Hip oil is high in essential fatty acids and often used to rejuvenate, soften and heal skin damaged by scars stretch marks and weather. Evening Primrose oil is moisturising, rejuvenating, high in polyunsaturated fatty acids, readily absorbed, repairs damaged skin especially after sun exposure, softens lines and smooths your skin. Palmarosa essential oil is a wonderful skin softener and an excellent essential oil to use if you have dry skin. It can help relieve acne and dermatitis and has a sweet rose scent. It provides a wealth of benefits for the skin, particularly as a moisturiser as it is effective in retaining and balancing skin moisture. Helichrysum essential oil is also known as Everlasting or Immortelle. It helps with healing the skin, acne, eczema and bruising, plus it may stimulate new cell formation. When blended with rose hip seed oil it helps reduce the appearance of scar tissue. It has a warm herbal scent. Carrot Seed essential oil aids in restoring elasticity to the skin, has a rejuvenating effect, assists with cell regeneration, helps tone aging skin and is excellent for all skin types. Warm, woody and earthy scent.
Place a small amount of powder into a small bowl, add a little warm water until you have a spreadable paste. Softly cleanse your face using small circular motions then rinse with warm water and pat dry. As a face mask proceed as above but leave on your face for up to 10 minutes, or until your skin starts to feel tight. For added benefit I like to add some pure honey to this paste too. Honey is full of natural antioxidants and antimicrobial properties which help protect, repair and prevent skin damage. It increases circulation and helps your skin absorb and retain moisture which keeps it from drying out.
Use as often as you think is necessary. Be mindful when you open the tin, the container is very full :) Do not use if you are pregnant or epileptic.
Keep dry with lid tightly closed and use within 12 months.
