Babies Bottom Balm

Use as desired on your baby from birth onwards. Safe and simple for babies' skin. A little goes a long way.

Handmade using organic sunflower oil, extra virgin Australian olive oil, unrefined cocoa butter and unrefined Tasmanian Leatherwood beeswax.

Tasmanian Leatherwood Beeswax thickens the cream and adds a lovely sweet honey like fragrance to this balm. Straight from the south west of Tasmania this wonderfully smelling beeswax is the natural secretion of bees which helps to protect the skin. It is an emollient, which means it helps to keep your babies' skin soft and a humectant which helps to keep the skin moist.  It is very gentle. Sunflower oil is easily absorbed and high in vitamins A, D and E, lecithin, and oleic fatty acid. High in essential fatty acids, vitamins A, D and E and lecithin. Deeply moisturising for all skin types, except oily. It is very similar to human sebum. Cocoa butter melts on contact with the skin and has a delicate chocolate aroma.  It is an antioxidant-rich emollient derived from the cocoa bean. Soothing with a sweet chocolate scent. High in vitamin E it helps reduce the formation of stretch marks and scars keeping the skin soft and supple.

It can also be used as a moisturiser for dry and cracked skin on your elbows and heels and is currently used by a local lady as a facial moisturiser. She is delighted with the results :)
